Title: Higher reciprocity law, and undecidability
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss how to define the power residue symbol for the polynomial ring over an ultraproduct of finite fields, and point out how to prove a reciprocity law for such a polynomial ring. If time permits, I will discuss the main strategy of the proof of my recent result about the undecidability of the full first-order theory of the rational function field over an ultraproduct of finite fields of characteristic 0.
