Title: On Marker extensions and Scott rank, Part II

Abstract: Marker extension method is used to encode information into a structure in a way that allows us to manipulate the complexity of selected relations in the resulting theory. It was Introduced by David Marker in his 1989 paper on non-Sigma_n axiomatizable almost strongly minimal theories. In this talk, we will present the construction and give some examples and applications.
