Title: Ricci Flow Could Generate Conjugate Points on Anosov Surfaces

Abstract:
In this talk I will describe a joint work in progress with Keith Burns and Solly Coles. We construct an Anosov surface which acquires conjugate points when it evolves under Ricci flow. This gives a negative answer to a question of Manning from 2004.
