Title: Uniform Matroids, Transversal Extensions, and Set System Mobility

Abstract:
A transversal matroid is a combinatorial object capturing the geometry of a family of sets. There are typically many families of sets that give rise to the same matroid, called the presentations of the matroid. Studying the various presentations of a matroid gives unique insight into the matroid. I present two results demonstrating this, as well as a new tool for studying families of sets.
