Title: On more exotic rings

Abstract: Most rings we deal with are “nice"”: Noetherian, commutative, integral domains, etc. What if we need examples of rings which aren’t? In this talk, we’ll go over three ways to produce more exotic rings from modules, rings, and algebras: the Dorroh extension, the trivialization (also called the idealization), and the Ore polynomial construction.
