Logic Seminar- Current topics in computable structure theory

Thursday, November 5, 2026 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Time: Thursday, November 5, 2:00–3:00 pm

Place: Rome Hall, Room 350

Speaker: Henry Klatt and Jeremias Valenzuela Morales, GWU

Title: Current topics in computable structure theory

Abstract: The speakers will focus on two research topics of current interest in computable structure theory. Computable structure theory investigates algorithmic content of classical mathematical constructions. For non-algorithmic phenomena, it uses Turing degrees and other measures to calibrate complexity of the objects and problems.
