Title: Studying representations of quantum affine sl(2)
Speaker: Evgeny Mukhin, IU Indianapolis
Date and time: Tuesday, March 17, 4–5 pm
Place: Rome 206
Abstract: I will discuss attempts to uncover the combinatorics of tensor products of two-dimensional modules of quantum affine sl(2) at generic values of the quantum parameter. While many interesting examples can be computed by hand or via computer, the general picture remains unknown. This will be an introductory talk; I will assume no prior knowledge of quantum groups or representation theory. This presentation is based on joint work with A. Grigorev.
