Title: Penrose tilings and their dynamics
Abstract: In this seminar, Penrose tilings and their dynamics will be discussed, which is first described in the mid-1970s by Roger Penrose. We start by defining multigrid tilings on T^m and its \R^2-action K on it. The following multigrid dual tilings are two versions: one with only Penrose prototiles, the other with duals of multiple crossings.
In particular, we discuss Sturmian sequences in the grids and 24 Wang tiles.
